BluesBlocker: Chrome Extension for Auto-Blocking Twitter Blue Subscribers
BluesBlocker is a Chrome extension that allows users to automatically block or mute Twitter Blue subscribers. With the option to avoid blocking people your account follows, this extension gives you control over your Twitter experience.
The extension features a sophisticated Action Queue that schedules actions to stay within Twitter's API rate limits. It also provides an Allowlist/Don't Action List, allowing you to undo actions and prevent further actions with just a single click. BluesBlocker utilizes Chrome Local Storage, ensuring that your actions are remembered even when the page is closed.
One notable feature of BluesBlocker is the Block Large Accounts filter, which gives you the choice to block or not block large accounts subscribed to Twitter Blue. Additionally, blocked users are also muted, reducing clutter and focusing on the content you want to see. You can even set an Action Delay Timer to control the time between mute and block actions.
BluesBlocker is a free Chrome extension developed by Austin Williamson. The source code is available on GitHub for those interested in exploring it further.
Please note that BluesBlocker is not affiliated with Twitter and operates independently as a browser extension.
